About Southwest Camera Club
Our club meetings began at the Berea Library in 1946. We moved to the Cleveland Metropark's Rocky River Nature Center in 1988, becoming an affiliate of the Metroparks shortly there after.
Our philosophy is to invest in developing the talent of our members. We have a full spectrum of practicing amateurs and professionals. More than half of our members are Nature Photographers. Pictorial and fine arts photographers compliment the diversity of interest.
We meet on the first Monday of each month at 7:30 pm at the Rocky River Nature Center, except in the summer months of July and August. Guests are always welcome.
Meetings feature advanced programs, workshops, and beginning tutorials. Members participate in show and tell and submit images for critiquing.
Competitions are held often. Members may present their images to compete with other club members, and in regional and national competitions. All meetings are geared toward developing photographic talents.
Club Dues
Club dues are $20 per year, $30 for couples, $10 for minors. Feel free to attend a few meetings and see if we are a good fit for you before joining.
The club season runs from late September to early June. New members who join after April 1st have the following year included.
